Music Director Kenny Callaghan welcomes you to be a part of the program at St. Matthew's.
Choir, small group and solo opportunities are open for anyone to participate.
Regular choir rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:30 pm - 9 pm.
Small Group and Ensembles for those who would like to sing in small groups of 4, 6, and 8. Ensembles are scheduled throughout the choral year, offering you
the chance to sing whether or not you choose to join the choir.
Worship Assistants are used in our liturgy to lead and support the congregation. |

Ferris Ellen Gluck Piano/Organ
Ferris spent her earliest
years in Connecticut and then moved to Southern California
at age 10. She graduated from the University of
California, Berkeley with a B.A., then earned a Diploma
of Music from the New England Conservatory, and a
Certificate in Composing & Arranging from the
Dick Grove School. During her years as a music student,
she began working as a choir director/ organist/
pianist in churches in the Boston area, continuing
to do so when she arrived in Los Angeles.
Ferris performs live regularly as a solo pianist and member of a jazz trio
in hotels and parties in the LA area as well as for cruises and out of town events.
She also plays in the orchestra for several local musicals. Currently she
is the keyboardist for the "Gem City Jazz Cats" big band. She also
composes film scores and music for TV and has earned numerous credits in Roger
Corman films, indie films, and TV shows such as "Planet's Funniest Animals," "Elimidate," and "Girls
Next Door."
Ferris has a small posse of students of all ages to whom she teaches piano lessons
